Its action is due to the bromide ion (potassium bromide is equally effective). Sodium bromide (NaBr) is a single salt clear brine fluid. It is available in 40% to 46% concentration.Application: Sodium bromide is used to prepare dense fluids used in oil wells, Because of its density, sodium bromide is used as a completion, work-over and packer fluid in oilfield applications.  And  Sodium bromide can be used as a source of the chemical element bromine. This can be accomplished by treating an aqueous solution of NaBr with chlorine gas. When used with an oxidizer, such as sodium hypochlorite, sodium bromide is an excellent biocide. It has wide industrial applications, including water treatment and pulp &#038; paper manufacturing.  Sodium Bromide is a pesticide used in formulating liquid sodium bromide microbiocides for the control of algal, bacterial and fungal slimes in industrial water treatment as well as municipal wastewater applications.  Other applications for sodium bromide also include photography and medicines. Dose: Note: CAS No : 7647-15-6  Sodium bromide is available in drums, totes, and bulk quantity from different storage facilities around the India and Middle East. </p>

Suitable for all types of engines where water circulation permitted.  Major engine manufacturers such as MAN Diesel and Wartsila have a suggestion to use proper balance dose of nitrite, borate and organics based corrosion inhibitor in water circular line. Application: Liquid product, easy to use. Environmentally friendly, fully organic product, low toxicity. Effective against cavitation and erosion. Superior heat transfer properties. Compatible with hoses, gaskets and seals. Compatible with glycols for frost protection. Stable product &#8211; non-depleting. The product can be used for corrosion inhibition in many types of closed re-circulation system such as: &#8211; Diesel engine cooling water systems &#8211; Compressor cooling water systems &#8211; Centralised cooling systems &#8211; Hot water heating systems &#8211; Auxiliary machinery cooling systems.Dose: Using Method : &#8211; RXSOL Cooltreat  is a highly effective corrosion inhibitor for all common metals in cooling water systems.Where most traditional inhibitors react with the metal surface and form oxides that prevent further corrosion, Cooltreat  applies a thin and durable layer of protective molecules to the metal surfaces. This technology prevents the continuous build-up of insulating layers on heat transfer surfaces. For new builds, Rxsol  recommends cleaning of the water system before commercing service. The system will always contain small amounts of oil and iron oxides, and this can be easly removed in 1 time with Rxsol Commissioning Cleaner. If the system is corroded or is more heavily contaminated use Rxsol Degreaser HD. Rxsol Safe Acid  for removal of metal oxides or scale is recommended. For systems previously treated with other products, Wilhelmsen Ships Service recommend to drain and flush the system before refilling with distilled water and Cooltreat . The system should be clean and free from scale and corrosion products when starting the treatment. The use of antifreeze is sometimes required if the vessel is to be laid up in cold areas, Cooltreat  can be used in conjunction with glycols for frost protection. If used in conjunction with glycols, It is recommended to increase the product concentration to 8%. Dosing method Cooltreat  should be dosed to a suitable point in the system. If the expansion tank is used, adequate circulation must be assured. Dosage and control Cooltreat  should always be present in a concentration of 5% or higher in the system. It is good practice to start with initial dose for an untreated system of 60 litres of Cooltreat /ton. 5% will provide sufficient protection of the system for a period of two to five years under normal conditions provided. To prevent residual falling below minimum level due to loss of cooling water, Wilhelmsen Ships Service recommend to maintain a level of 6% Cooltreat  in the cooling system. The engine manufacturer&#8217;s recommendations for water quality should always be complied with. Cooltreat  provides good protection even with contamination of the system by i.e. inorganc salts.Maintain Chloride levels and other contaminants at a minimum level. Generally, costs are balanced by removal of as much of the oxygen as feasible by mechanical means, e.g. deaerator and by using Ammonium Bisulfite to react with the residual oxygen. To prevent corrosion and pitting it is desirable to feed the Ammonium Bisulfite.Dose: Theoretically, 7.88 pounds of RXSOL-40-5023-210 are required to remove one pound of oxygen. The efficiency of the oxygen removal is estimated at 75 per cent to allow for oxidation in contact with air, blowdown losses, etc. Therefore it is estimated that 10 pounds of RXSOL-40-5023-210 are required for each pound of oxygen removed (or 10 ppm RXSOL-40-5023-210 per 1 ppm dissolved oxygen.)Note:   HANDLING, STORAGE AND PRECAUTIONS : RXSOL-40-5023-210 is mildly alkaline in nature. Normal precautions should be taken while handling solid powders. In case of contact, wash with water. Do not swallow. RXSOL-40-5023-210 should be stored in a dry condition. Close the container tightly to avoid contact with air. PACKING : RXSOL-40-5023-210 is available in 50 kg polythene lined bags.</p>

RXSOL 5006 is a specially formulated and  powdered materials.  which, when added to boiler feedwater, removes dissolved oxygen , By acting as an oxygen scavenger. Benefits:- By Control of corrosive oxygen from boiler water which causes corrosion and pitting ,It  improves boiler system long life and  reliability . In boiler feedwater conditioning RXSOL-40-5023-210 is fed to a boiler to remove dissolved oxygen and thus prevent pitting. For the reaction between RXSOL-40-5023-210 and oxygen to proceed rapidly and completely, it is necessary to maintain an excess sulfite concentration at an elevated temperature. Application: The use of RXSOL-40-5023-210 as a chemical deoxygenator is economical within certain limitations imposed by the dissolved oxygen content of the feedwater. If appreciable quantities of dissolved oxygen are permitted to enter the boiler, costs will be high if RXSOL-40-5023-210 is relied on as the sole means of oxygen removal. Generally, costs are balanced by removal of as much of the oxygen as feasible by mechanical means, e.g. deaerator and by using RXSOL-40-5023-210 to react with the residual oxygen. To prevent corrosion and pitting in feed lines, closed heaters and economizers, it is desirable to feed the RXSOL-40-5023-210 continuously to the boiler feedwater rather than directly to the boiler feedwater rather than directly to the boiler. Reaction between RXSOL-40-5023-210 and oxygen is not instantaneous and the completion of the reaction is aided by the longer contact times provided by feeding RXSOL-40-5023-210 to the feedwater.   Catalyzed RXSOL-40-5023-210 will, however, react almost instantaneously with dissolved oxygen even at cold water temperatures. Because of this property, catalyzed RXSOL-40-5023-210 has found increased use in the treatment of cooling water, process water, distribution system, etc. for preventing oxygen corrosion.  Dose: Theoretically, 7.88 pounds of RXSOL-40-5023-210 are required to remove one pound of oxygen.
