Using-Procedure:-First of all flush the system with cold water to prevent evaporation rates and polymerization then the most economical method of using RXSOL-20-3300-025 is by direct injection followed by recirculation washing, using tank cleaning machines.

Spraying Method:-Using RXSOL-20-3300-025 as delivered in drums, spray onto areas where residue remains following rough washing leave for 10-45 minutes (but do not allow to dry), then butterworth at maximum pressure and warm water 60^oC for at least 3 hours, checking that there is no foam remaining in the final stages.  Inspects tanks(s) and if desired result has been achieved fresh water rinse and dry.

Injection Method:- Not applicable. 

Re- Circulation Method:- Fill tank with fresh water and heat up to warm 50^oC .  IF a drop line is available on the tank line system, then start to circulate the water and add the required amount of Caustic flakes and RXSOL-20-3300-025 to make a 2.5% solution.  A stronger solution can be made, but be advised that too much Caustic and too high temperature will result in white powder all over the tank.  Under normal circumstances, between 2.5% and 4.5% will be sufficient strength.  If there is no drop line, then lower butterworth hoses into the tank from the pump stack header without machines attached and circulate through these hoses while you fill the solution material. 

Other Popular Method for TANK CLEANING :::

Tank Cleaning  Sludge/ Lube Oils / Slope-Black Oil
1 ) Fill the tank with 1-35 litres per ton wash water.Best results are obtained when water is heated to a   temperature  between  65°C & 80°C  then  stripped  constantly and transferred  to a holding  tank  for  separation.The time for this will vary depending on amount of RXSOL-20-3300-025  used & nature of oil being cleaned.Generally,12 hours should be sufficient before the water phase can be removed.
2) Direct Cleaning.Spray directly  RXSOL-20-3300-025 on tank surfaces to be cleaned, left  for at least 30  minutes.Finally wash with hydrogating (high pressure) machine. Hot water between 50°C & 80°C recommended.

**Use a strainer at the pump stack when circulating any solution.**  Tank Lining– Stainless / Epoxy / Phenolic.

Dose:

Necessary concentration in water only 0,2 to 0,4 %
 

Oil and Sludge remover

RXSOL-20-3300-025   is  also recommended for local cleaning & degreasing of engine rooms, bilges & tank  tops. It may be applied by brush, spray, immersion, soaking, or  any  other  conventional  means.RXSOL-20-3300-025 is used  neat. Allow a residence time of at least 20- 45 minutes where  possible, to ensure good penetration & emulsification. Finally wash the system with hot water & high pressure.The emulsion residue after cleaning must be allowed  to separate  in a holding tank for atleast 3-5 hours before passing through an oily water separator.
