As a disinfectant it is used to sterilize surgical instruments and other areas. Glutaraldehyde is a water treatment microbiocide used to kill bacteria in water systems. When should I use Glutaraldehyde? It is effective against the bacteria and fungi present in papermaking systems and useful in preventing slime formation in all areas of the papermaking process.
