Specific Hazards Arising from the Chemical Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and vapors. The product causes burns of eyes, skin and mucous membranes. Do not allow run-off from fire-fighting to enter drains or water courses.
Hazardous Combustion Products Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and vapors. Protective Equipment and Precautions for Firefighters As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear. Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and vapors.
Protective Equipment and Precautions for Firefighters Use personal protective equipment as required. Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak.
Further Information Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Do not allow material to contaminate ground water system. Prevent product from entering drains. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained.

Spillage                   Absorb with an inert material and put the spilled material in an appropriate waste disposal.Flammable liquid. Keep away from heat. Keep away from sources of ignition. Stop leak if without risk. Absorb with DRY earth, sand or other non-combustible material. Do not touch spilled material. Prevent entry into sewers, basements or confined areas; dike if needed. Be careful that the product is not present at a concentration level above TLV. Check TLV on the MSDS and with local authorities.
