Description

RXSOL ORG 6 , ALKALI CLEANER is Eco – Friedly and Non Hazardous degreasing cleaner for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is   an excellent blend of powerful surfactant to remove of soil, dirt, rust, Oil & Grease , carbon , light paint etc, from Ferous  & No Ferous alloys and its surface.  The Product  has a long  life with very good cleaning effect. It is alkaline in nature without  any complexing agent and cleans the surface totally making it active and bright. This product is  fully soluble in water , in all proportion , and it  not  produce vapour of any kind.

RXSOL-20-2059-025  is an all purpose degreaser for cleaning of Oil and Sludge with emulsifiers. It is an excellent blend of powerful cleaner and emulsifying inorganic products .Specially designed  for engine room, degreasing of metal and cargo  tank cleaning .Main feature of this product is, it finally dissociate slop emulsion  to separate oil and water and inhibit calcium, magnesium, and silica scale and also help corrosion control by dispersing iron oxide.

Alkaline cleaning agents contain strong bases for mainstay of industrial cleaning. Cleaners are many in number and vary in type and formulation. Working solutions of alkaline cleaners have proprietary alkaline cleaners and specifically formulated chemical blends. This product is classified as Alkaline Degreasers and Cleaners.

Product Description & Application

Product Details

Application

  • Prior to all kind of plating.
  •  Prior to Blackening and Phosphating.
  •  In a continuous Automatic strip, wire or coil cleaning purposes.

Oil and Sludge remover

RXSOL-20-2059-025 / 050   is  recommended for local cleaning & degreasing of engine rooms, bilges & tank  tops. It may be applied by brush, spray, immersion, soaking, or  any  other  conventional  means.RXSOL-20-2059-210 is used  neat. Allow a residence time of at least 20- 45 minutes where  possible, to ensure good penetration & emulsification. Finally wash the system with hot water & high pressure. The emulsion residue after cleaning must be allowed  to separate  in a holding tank for atleast 3-5 hours before passing through an oily water separator.

Tank Cleaning  Sludge/ Lube Oils / Slope-Black Oil
1 ) Fill the tank with 1-35 litres per ton wash water.Best results are obtained when water is heated to a   temperature  between  65°C & 80°C  then  stripped  constantly and transferred  to a holding  tank  for  separation. The time for this will vary depending on amount of RXSOL-20-2059-210  used & nature of oil being cleaned.Generally,12 hours should be sufficient before the water phase can be removed.
2) Direct Cleaning.Spray directly  RXSOL-20-2059-210 on tank surfaces to be cleaned, left  for at least 30  minutes. Finally wash with hydrogating (high pressure) machine. Hot water between 50°C & 80°C recommended.

  •  Prior to all kind of plating.
  •  Prior to Blackening and Phosphating.
  •  In a continuous Automatic strip, wire or coil cleaning purposes.

Dosage & Procedure

Dose rate and results will vary depending on amount of contamination . For light contamination dilution with water up to 1:20 is recommended, where as medium contamination  dilute 1:10, And for heavy contamination neat RXSOL-20-2059-025 / 050 is suggested to use.

Dosage:- Dose rate and results will vary depending on  amount of contamination and deposit of oil grease, Soil etc . For light contamination dilution with water up to 1:20 is recommended, where as medium contamination  dilute 1:10, And for heavy contamination neat RXSOL-20-2059-025 / 050 is suggested to use.

OPERATING CONDITIONS

  FERROUS NON-FERROUS
Concentration  50-80 g/l 25-30 g/l
Temperature  65-80ºC 65-80ºC
Time 2-5 Mins.  2-5 Mins.

BATH MAKE UP

  • Fill the tank approximately 2/3 rd of the tank with warm water.
  • Add the required amount of RXSOL-20-2059-025 / 050 and stir till Homogenous homogenous.
  • Fill the tank to working level with water and heat to operating temperature.

MAINTENANCE

The concentration of the bath can be best determined by simple acid base titration using phenolphthalein as indicator.

Titrate 5ml of sample solution against 1N H2SO4. The concentration of the cleaner can be known by the formula given below : Calculation : Conc. = R x N x 15 Where, R = Burette reading N = Normality of H2SO4.

Any grease that collects on the surface during operation should be removed in order to avoid resoiling of components during lifting out of the solution. The loss of water by evaporation has to be made up from time to time. If the solution acts slowly after some period of usage and some components are no longer sufficiently cleaned, the bath should be replaced with the new one.

EQUIPMENT

Plain steel tank is recommended. Heater made of steel or quartz can be used for heating purpose

CONTROL
The cleaner solution can easily and effectively be controlled by removing floating oil over the surface either manually or by means of circulating pump and an oil trap regularly. The concentration of the solution can be maintained by analysing the alkalinity of the solution by simple titration with standard acid using Phenolphthalein as an indicator.

Another Procedure of use for clean small spare Parts :- RXSOL-20-2059-025 / 050  is  recommended for  cleaning & degreasing of metal pipe, spare parts . It may be applied by brush, spray, immersion, soaking, or  any  other  conventional  metosd. RXSOL-20-2059-210 is used  neat.

Approach release from upwind. Ventilate area of leak or spill. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment as specified in Section 8. Isolate hazard area. Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel from entering. Contain and recover liquid when possible. Carefuly neutrallize spill with dilute HCl. Collect liquid in an appropriate container or absorb with an inert material (e. g., vermiculite, dry sand, earth), and place in a chemical waste container. Use water spray to cool, absorb, and disperse vapors. Do not use combustible materials, such as saw dust. Do not flush to sewer!.
