Corrosion Scale Inhibitor Boiler Treatment

Corrosion and Scale Inhibitor with Phosphates and Polyphosphates.

SKU: RXSOL-42-4029-025 Category:

Description

Corrosion Scale Inhibitor Boiler Treatment is a high-performance liquid treatment, specially engineered with phosphate polymers for application in steam boilers.

Formulated for systems utilizing softened make-up water, AquaShield B64 effectively disperses iron and phosphate sludge, ensuring clean and efficient boiler operation.

The advanced polymer blend promotes the transport of calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphate, and silica through the boiler system, preventing the formation of stubborn deposits.

By minimizing scale and sludge buildup, AquaShield B64 helps extend steam production cycles, enhances heat transfer efficiency, and reduces the risk of tube overheating and associated maintenance downtime

Product Details

Application

Corrosion Inhibitor OPEN Cooling System  scientifically formulated to keep clean open recirculating systems  and also prevent from scale formation . Chemically Corrosion Inhibitor OPEN Cooling System  will disperse scale and corrosive products, silt etc and can be used as an anti-foulant along with other treatments.

Excellent scale inhibition for a variety of applications including cooling circuits, boilers and RO units.

It is widely used in Boilers, cooling water and membranes

Dosage & Procedure

  • Dosage (ppm) = (Feedwater Hardness × F) + (Feedwater Iron × 20)

  • Select Factor F based on boiler pressure:

Use F = 23 for boilers up to 30 bar.

Most industrial and utility boilers globally operate between 10–40 bar (low to medium pressure steam production).

F = 23 works well for boilers using softened feedwater, which is very common internationally.

Even for pressures slightly above 35 bar (up to 45 bar), using F = 24 still keeps treatment safe and effective without under- or overdosing.

Manage Phosphate reserve after dosing the product as per below:

Boiler Pressure Phosphate Reserve
0–20 bar 30–70 ppm
21–40 bar 20–50 ppm
41–60 bar 20–40 ppm
61–70 bar 15–30 ppm

Maximum pressure limit for this product is 60 bar.

OR Simply follow the below Directions for Use of RXSOL Corrosion Inhibitor to prevent corrosion acid attack and scaling in your boiler

RXSOL Boiler Corrosion Scale Treatment should be fed continuously in order to properly protect the boiler. Boiler Corrosion Scale Treatment can be fed neat or in any convenient dilution made up in soft water or cooled condensate. Boiler Corrosion Scale Treatment should be dosed using individual chemical dosing unit, must not be mixed with oxygen scavengers or condensate system corrosion inhibitors in concentrated form (e.g. concentrated chemical products should not be mixed together).

Sampling and Testing
Boiler Corrosion Scale Treatment is normally used in conjunction with RXSOL Alkalinity Control treatment in a conventional alkaline phosphate treatment programme for HP boilers, where independent control of phosphate and alkalinity control is required.

Dosing and Control
The dosage of Boiler Corrosion Scale Treatment depends on a number of operational factors such as feed-water quality, boiler design and steam rate. Control of Boiler Corrosion Scale Treatment is by a simple test to give the required level of phosphate (as PO4) in the boiler water. A simple Hardness Treatment test kit is available for this purpose. NOTE: Dependent on water quality, Boiler Corrosion Scale Treatment dosed at 0.25 liters/ton will increase the phosphate reserve by the order of 10mg/l.
