SODIUM METHOXIDE 30% SOLUTION reaction with unactivated aryl bromides in the presence of copper catalyst under various reaction conditions has been studied. It reacts with aryl halides in the presence of a palladium catalyst in DMF (Dimethylformamide) to afford arenes.
